...ficant up-regulations of interleukin (IL)-8 at 1 and 3hpi and interferon (IFN)-α late 24 and 48hpi. Altogether, our results suggest that the concurrent up-regulation of IFNα, IL-1b and IL-6 with higher viral load could represent an important feature affecting the viral pathogenicity and associated with impairment of innate immune response that in turn facilitate and magnify the effect of co-infections.

...munoglobulin-G (IgG) and interleukin-12 (IL-12) in the serum of ducks at 1 day and 7 days after LPS injection (P<0.05). However, there were no apparent changes in organ index or the relative expression of TLR4 and IgM (P>0.05). Furthermore, correlation analysis showed a positive relationship between the mRNA expression of TLR4 and concentrations of TNF-α and IL-12. These results revealed that although there were no significant ...

The interleukin-1beta (IL-1β) level was decreased. 16s RNA sequencing further indicated that the colonic microflora had changed, especially the Lactobacillus had increased significantly. Our study showed that short-term ZEA exposure led to resistive increase of colonic probiotics in mice, especially the increase of lactobacillus can reduce intestinal mucosal immunotoxicity.
