Histological and biochemical study of liver of silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) after acute exposure to pyrethoride (deltamethrin)
...rosis, nuclear pycnosis, hypertrophy of hepatocytes, vacuolization, nuclear atrophy and congestion
of blood vessels were observed as compare to control group. This result was also supported by the significant
increase in levels of hepatic enzymes AST and ALT in blood plasma of exposed fish as compared to control fish.
These results suggested that deltamethrin is highly toxic for aquatic organism like silver carp causing malfunctioning

...e water showing relative hypertrophy of muscle fibers. A micrograph of a section TB muscle of lambs drinking fresh water showing normal muscle fibers structure while, the lambs that drinking saline water showing an elongation of muscle fibers and narrow of the thickness as compared with the normal one that may be significant related to meat tenderness. Therefore, the results indicated that there was a bad influence of drinking saline water on meat yield...

...C for 45 min. Pancreatic hypertrophy was observed histologically in birds having feed formulations with FFSB processed at lowest temperature for shortest time duration. It was inferred that toasting FFSB at various temperatures could affect growth performance and digestibility parameters in broiler chickens.

...It is known that cardiac hypertrophy induced by hypertension always goes with abnormal myocardial glucolipid metabolism. However, whether or not pioglitazone may alleviate the cardiac hypertrophy and reverse abnormal myocardial glucolipid metabolism is still unknown. We conducted this experiment to explore the influence of pioglitazone on cardiac hypertrophy in rats. Rats with cardiac

...eart failure and cardiac hypertrophy. Zizyphus jujuba var spinosa seeds contain SPN, a C-glycoside flavonoid used in traditional medicine. A growing body of evidence indicates they have pharmacological potential against a wide range of diseases. Spinosin (SPN), however, has not been examined in relation to doxorubicin (Dox) induced cardiac injuries. To find out if SPN can reverse Dox-induced cardiomyopathies, we conducted this study. Results showed that Dox tr...

...hocytes accompanied with hypertrophy in the white pulp of the spleen. The results suggested that when pregnant rats are exposed to moderate levels of COC, their offspring experience changes in their immune system and oxidative damage, which may be shown through alterations in the structure and function of the spleen. The immunologic alteration may be due exposure to pregnant rats to high concentration of copper in the COC treatment that transported to their ma...
