Taxonomic Data of New Recorded Plant Parasitic and Soil Nematodes from Different Vegetation of Thar Desert, Sindh Pakistan

ABSTRACT
Plant parasitic and soil nematodes were found associated with different vegetation of the Thar Desert, Sindh, Pakistan. Taxonomic studies of Tylenchorhynchus neoclavicaudatus Mathur, Sanwal and Lal, 1978, Tylenchorhynchus mashhoodi Siddiqi and Basir, 1958, Pratylenchus curvicauda Siddiqi, Dabur and Bajaj, 1991, Pratylenchus elamini Zeidan and Geraert, 1991, Hemicyclophora punensis Darekar and Khan, 1981, Tylencholaimus shamimi Islam and Ahmed, 2021, Makatinus punctatus Heyns, 1965 and Labronema mangalorense Ahmad and Ahmad, 2002 are being presented in this paper. The morphology and morphometric traits of native populations of these nematodes were found correspond to the type specimens. According to the latest information, these identified nematodes species are new records from Pakistan.
