The JFE significantly recovered the histopathological alterations in reno-hepatic tissue by free radicals scavenging and metal chelating abilities due to presence of anthocyanin, flavonoids and β-sitosterol. The JFE’sprotective effects against heavy metals environmental toxicants especially Cr+6 is novel and cheapest; that should be sponsored for ethno-medicinal purpose.
