Epidemiology of Mycoplasma Infections in Animals

The primary aim of this special issue is to encapsulate research on different epidemiological aspects of mycoplasma infections and their diagnosis mainly in small (sheep, goat) and large (cattle, buffalo) ruminants; however, it may also include unusual hosts, wild ruminants, different avian species, cats, dogs etc. This special issue will provide an opportunity to researchers for sharing knowledge on the epidemiology of mycoplasma infections including frequency, occurrence, prevalence, incidence, risk factors, vertical and horizontal transmission along with investigation of disease outbreaks, control and prevention strategies, and their diagnostic approaches. This will be useful resource for the veterinarians, animal owners, farm managers, epidemiologists, academicians, researchers and policy makers in devising the strategies for the prevention, control and diagnosis of mycoplasmosis in different animal species.

This special issue invites research papers, reviews, short communications, and success stories related to epidemiology of mycoplasma infections in sheep, goats, cattle, buffaloes, cats, dogs and wild animals.

Authors can submit their manuscripts via the Manuscript HandlerPlease select “Special Issue: Mycoplasma” in “Areas of Specific Interest” field during submission process.

All accepted articles will be assigned DOI, CrossMark and will be indexed in major databases.There are no publication or any other charges for Veterinary Sciences: Research and Reviews: Fee for Readers and Free for Contributors.

Review Completion: Feburary 10, 2021
Publication Date: Continuous (as soon as the manuscripts are accepted) but not latter than March 10, 2021
