Special Issue topic: VIRAL DISAESES IN AFRICA

JVS is pleased to announce its special issue for 2024 entitled VIRAL DISAESES IN AFRICA. This special issue aims to highlight the current state of knowledge and research on viral diseases in Africa. The continent is home to a diverse range of viral diseases, many of which are endemic and pose a significant challenge to one health.

In this special issue, we will focus on the latest research on viral diseases in Africa including human, animal, and plant viruses with a particular emphasis on emerging and re-emerging viral diseases. We welcome short communications, review articles, and original research submissions on topics such as epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment, and vaccines of viral diseases in Africa from all over the world. The first decision will be made within 2 weeks after submission.

Our goal is to provide an open-access platform for researchers to share their findings and contribute to the global effort to combat viral diseases and one health. Open-access article processing charges are 100 USD excluding taxes.
