History:
The work of introduction of Brown trout (Salme far id) has been centred on Kagan Valley, Swat and Chitral. It is estimated that about 1100,00 fries of this species reared in the hatcheries of Shinu, Madyan, Jaghoor and Bombret and have been released in the cold water streams of this area since the commencement of this work.
