ABSTRACT
It is estimated that an area of 774,700 hectares will be
planted in Pakistan during the 8th Five Year Plan
(1993-94 to 1997-98) for which 1309.4 million plants
will be raised. On the basis of these targets, 992,710
kg seeds of various tree species would be required
during this period.
