Some multiple-purpose tree species in Pakistan

ABSTRACT
Choice of tree species with the objective of their multiple use is essential to increase the economic and ecological benefits of afforestation programs. The multiple use of trees is defined as the array of goods and services which they produce for direct and indirect human use. On this criterion, 42 species of trees both exotic and indigenous have been identified and discussed for their multiple uses in this paper.
