ABSTRACT

Quantitative phytosociological survey was carried out along the way of Gilgit to Gopis, Yasin and Phunder. Vegetation was sampled at 46 different locations by quadrat and plotless methods. Community attributes, maturity and homogeneity of every stand were studied. 10 communities were recognized on the basis of physiognomy, floristic composition and importance value index.
