ABSTRACT
The article is mainly based on literature review and the practical experience of the author. The paper discusses the existing forests plants preparation, important characteristics and objectives of forestry projects and evaluation processes. The paper suggests that forestry
activities must be integrated with rural development. It further suggests that the importance of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) of forestry projects must be recognized and evaluation must be made an integral part of the plans.
