ABSTRACT
A study laid out in irrigated plantation to find the effect of spacing in the rate of growth of Populus euramericana cv.I-214 has indicated that so far as diameter growth is concerned wider spacings (4.6x4.6 m and 5.5x5.5 m) are highly significant at 1% level as
compared to closer ones (3.7x3.7 m and 1.9x1.9 m). As regards height, the closet spacing has an edge over the rest.
