Chemical evaluation of oil from Datura alba

ABSTRACT
Yield, physic-chemical characteristics and chemical composition of oil from the seeds of Datura alba were determined and the results obtained were compared with those of oil from Datura stramonium. It was concluded that this oil was of fair standard and like Datura stramonium oil could be used in pharmaceutical industry.
