Abstract:
Nutrient status of representative soil profile, mineral composition of humus and semi decomposed litter, and levels of mineral elements in the needles of different age crop of Cedrus deodara were determined. The findings are tabulated and discussed. The roll of organic matter in the enrichment of soil-site and towards maintenance of nutrient balance is elaborated.
