ABSTRACT
The productivity of the bottom fauna of the water tanks of Punj-tirat, a stream of Palosee Village has been determined by number and canals in Islamia Collage Campus, Forest Institute and Lakerhay Village has been determined by number and weight per unit area in Spring
Season. The gut contents of the fishes of these water bodies were also studied and it was found that 80 percent fishes live in bottom fauna.
