Attractancy of granular insecticides for land snail (Helix aspersa, Gastropoda, Mollusca)

ABSTRACT
Granular insecticides Temik 10%, Thiodan 3% Diazinon 14%Disyston 15%and NaCl were tried as attractants for snails feeding on juniper seedlings. Among them Temik was the most effective, which attracted and killed 99snails released at a distance of 1-2 meters in 120
hours. Thiodan, Diazinon and Disyston also attracted and killed few snails but NaCl did not act as attractant.
