ABSTRACT

Intro: Forest Policy and Management is based on legal classification system that categories the forest according to their tenure. Forests in Pakistan can be divided into two major tenure categories: State owned and privately owned forests. The Table 1 and 2 explain landuse profiles of the Pakistan and NWFP respectively.
