Changes in PMM expressed as MV±SD (mean value, standard deviation) during different cadmium treatments. The groups were compared by LSD multiple range test followed by ANOVA. Control cadmium is not added to food; Acute 10 (30) three-day treatment with 10 and 30 μg Cd/g dry food; Chronic 10 (30) cadmium treatment with 10 and 30 μg Cd/g dry food from hatching until sacrificing; Recovery 10 (30) three-day recovery after chronic treatments at 10 and 30 μg Cd/g dry food.
