ABSTRACT

Postpartum depression is a type of major depression that starts within four weeks after delivery and last for years if left untreated. To describe a detailed case study on the treatment of postpartum depression. AB design was used to report a detailed case study on postpartum depression. Cognitive behavioural therapy was used to treat the symptoms of postpartum depression. After the short treatment of only six weeks, the client learned to manage the symptoms that she was experiencing for the past two years. The study is highly informative as it helps the reader to understand the strategic way of dealing with the client experiencing postpartum depression for an extended period.
